Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Dr. Ariel Stein at (914) 668-1748; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 16 reviews, which is a strong result for a dentist in Mt Vernon and suggests consistent service.

Mt Vernon is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mt Vernon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Stein has been my dentist for several years and I am truly satisfied with the dental care that he provides. He is knowledge, professional, caring and very patient. He listens to complaints patiently and attentively without making me feel hurried. The entire office team delivers service in a respectful and professional manner. I have referred many family members and friends to Fleetwood dental and they are all pleased with the care and treatment they receive.

Dr Stein is the best! He’s been my dentist for over 20 years. My smile is perfect because of him and his wonderful staff (shout out to Lia). I highly recommend to everyone. Him and the staff actually clean your teeth and only recommend what you need and don’t try to force you anything. Best dentist group! I used to live near the office but then I moved north and instead of finding a dentist nearby, I drive down 45 minutes because I only trust Dr Stein and staff.

Dr. Stein has been my family's trusted dentist for over 15 years. We cannot say enough how grateful we are for him; his honesty and dependability has been unwavering throughout the years and we know we are in good hands when we need a procedure done with him. Dr. Stein is hard working, professional, caring, and extremely personable. I would highly recommend Dr. Stein and look forward to many more years of smiles under his expert care!
